[Bangkok] (September 30, 2019) – Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Thailand’s leading distributor of tire for passenger car, truck and bus, offered the commercial customers’ needs by a full range of Bridgestone’s tire management through “Toolbox” program; a system used to record information for truck tire and bus tire inspections through the “Toolbox Web”*1website, or on smartphones/tablets, through the “Toolbox Touch” application. The recorded information was directly uploaded to an online system, allowing retrieval and viewing of the information at any time. Users may utilize this recorded information for characteristics analysis in order to plan for effective tire maintenance, which can expand lifespans, reduce tire usage costs, and increase driving safety from tire maintenance.
Toolbox is one of the professional tire management programs created by Bridgestone as part of
B-Solution, which employs several steps to search for the needs and actual solutions for the users. From that point, analysis is carried out in order to suggest various solutions which will be used to solve the users’ problems in an effective manner. Toolbox not only offers highest convenience and safety, but also provides highest benefits to customers operation cost.
Currently, Bridgestone has already operated the services of the Toolbox program through the Toolbox Web website and the Toolbox Touch application. Customers who are interested in these special free services can use the service program from Bridgestone Truck Tire Center (BTC) and Bridgestone Fleet Point (BFP) service. Key Features of Toolbox Touch
· Offline and online functionality for tire condition information recording and recall.
· Calculate the cost per kilometer of each tire, and issues brief reports to notify of tire maintenance upon arrival at each appointed time period.
· Can be used alongside tire tread depth gauges and digital tire air pressure gauges.
· Usable on smartphones, tablets, and iOS, Android and Windows system
· Use the same database as Toolbox (Information located on the website)
Probes is digital gauge used to measure tire tread depth and tire air pressure, used in conjunction with the Toolbox Touch system in order to reduce inspection and tire condition recording times, and to increase accuracy in tire tread depth and air pressure measurement.
