[Ratchaburi] (31 January 2019) – Mr. Hideyuki Takeda, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., and management from Bridgestone Group Companies in Thailand donated “Bridgestone Recycled Tire Sport Field” to Tako Pid Thong Border Patrol Police School in Ratchaburi Province, with a donation budget supported by the "Chase Your Dream Run" activity. In addition, Mr. Hideyuki Takeda was also given the opportunity to meet with HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn on the occasion of her visit to the school.

Aligned with Bridgestone’s Global CSR Commitment “Our Way to Serve”, Bridgestone Thailand utilized more than 200 crumb and recycled truck tires with a total weight of 1.5 tons to produce the construction material for “Bridgestone Recycles Tire Sports Field”. Made from the high elasticity of tires, this outdoor recycled sport field is durable that may last for at least 10 years and resistant to all weather conditions. The sports field is 350 square meters and it can be used for sports and exercises for students and local communities.

Bridgestone encourages Thai children to exercise for a better health both physically and mentally.

We hope that the sports field can bring inspirations to young generations and place a good foundation to support those young talents to chase their dreams towards becoming national athletes and even compete at the global level to represent Thailand in the future.
