Bridgestone subsidiaries in Thailand Join Hands
to Support COVID-19 Relief Efforts

BANGKOK (June 18, 2020) Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., and other Bridgestone subsidiaries in Thailand recently launched a campaign “Bridgestone Be by Your Side - Fighting Against COVID-19” to raise funds for COVID-19 relief efforts.
In total, Bridgestone in Thailand raised a total of 1,557,000 that donated to 4 hospitals located near Bridgestone’s sites (Thammasat University Hospital in Pathumthani province, Pluakdaeng Hospital in Rayong province, Panthong Hospital in Chonburi province, and Songklanagarind Hospital in Songkla province) for the supply of their medical equipment. Part of the funds will also go towards vaccination research and development at Faculty of Medicine, Chulalongkorn University.
In conjunction with World Blood Donor Day this month, Bridgestone teammates from 15 subsidiaries nationwide also participated in a blood donation drive that started since 1 June 2020 as the country faces a shortage of blood supplies amid the Coronavirus pandemic. The blood donation drive will continue until the end of this month.
