[Bangkok] (27 February, 2020) Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., and Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., officially announce Mr. Fumitaka Takaoka as the new Managing Director while Mr. Hideyuki Takeda is appointed as Vice President and Officer Original Equipment Tire Sales for Bridgestone Corporation in Japan.
For almost 2 years, under the lead of Mr. Hideyuki Takeda, Bridgestone has initiated many activities and programs, such as Bridgestone Retail Thailand, the Wholesale Partnership Program and B-solution which these business developments have become another key success supporting Bridgestone to maintain a position as a leader in the competitive automotive industry in Thailand.
With the intention to continue Bridgestone’s development and success, Mr. Fumitaka Takaoka, the Managing Director, stated that “The present competition among the automotive tire business in Thailand is regarded as a challenge to me, particularly to drive Bridgestone in Thailand continuously maintaining the position of customers’ most trusted brand.
