Thai Bridgestone Joins “The Blue Carpet Show for UNICEF”

to Help Children Around the World

[Bangkok] (January 14, 2020) Recently, Mr. Hideyuki Takeda, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd. (1st left), and Mr. Teruo Kunitake, Vice President of Bridgestone Asia Pacific Technical Center Co., Ltd. (2nd right), joined the show, namely “The Blue Carpet Show for UNICEF”, a new fundraising TV show, a live variety show to mobilize public support for children in Thailand which has been organized by UNICEF for the second consecutive year. The show went on air live from Moonstar Studio on Channel 7HD on this past Sunday, January 11, 2020. The show was overwhelmingly supported by allies from various organizations, including Thai Bridgestone and subsidiaries as Bridgestone appreciates the importance of child protection from violence, abuse and exploitation in Thai society. Also, this helps reinforce Bridgestone’s intention to embrace social responsibility, helping better a quality of life as Bridgestone’s CSR commitment, “Our Way To Serve”.
