Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award from Toyota

[Bangkok] (April 9, 2021) Bridgestone Asia Pacific Pte. Ltd., a subsidiary of Bridgestone Corporation, a global leader in sustainable mobility and advanced solutions, has won the 2020 Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s (TDEM) Annual Supplier Awards. This is the second time Bridgestone has received this award since winning it in 2014.

The award was presented by Mr. Apinont Suchewaboripont, Executive Vice President of Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to Mr. Keiji Chuma, Managing Director of Thai Bridgestone Co., Ltd., the award ceremony held at Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd.’s head office in Thailand on March 23, 2021.

The 2020 TDEM Supplier Awards is organized by Toyota Daihatsu Engineering & Manufacturing Co., Ltd., to give recognition to its suppliers in the ASEAN region. A total of 10 awards were given out to both local and regional suppliers based on their performance in various aspects such as Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Development. Bridgestone clinched the most prestigious Regional Overall Outstanding Performance Award for showing strong support towards Toyota’s activities across the region through its extensive sales, manufacturing, and service network in the ASEAN region.
