Bridgestone holds an open house for the management team and staff of the Department of Land Transport

[Bangkok. January 21, 2021] Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., led by Commercial Marketing and Strategy Department held an open house to welcome the management team and staff of the Department of Land Transport and its related agencies, who visited and viewed the commercial tire production processes at Bridgestone Tire Manufacturing (Thailand) Co., Ltd., Chonburi Province, and visited Bridgestone Truck  Tire Center at Ruamkit Rungrueng Truck Details to view its quality and standardized truck and bus tires production processes. In addition to the total service from the Bridgestone Truck Tire Center, and by the status of long-term relationship between Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., and the Department of Land Transport, we will deliver total transportation services - both in matters of tires and B-Solution - in order to play a part in enhancing Thailand’s transportation to safely proceed in every aspect, and in a lasting way.

The Department of Land Transport has joined collaboration with Bridgestone Sales (Thailand) Co., Ltd., to sign an MoU for truck transportation system development since the beginning of the Y2020, with aiming to support, promote and publicize Trucking Service Quality Standard (Q Mark) to private truck transportation companies, to gain quality and standard system, and to possess operating systems that build confidence in the safety of every transportation. All trucks will use quality tires that are regularly maintained, with the aim of reducing accident risks. These activities will provide Thai transportation systems with improved quality under standardized levels that conform to the needs of the industrial sector, which will support and drive forward the trade sector’s logistics and supply chain management processes in an effective manner.
